Last week, Leicester thrashed Newcastle 42-20 on home soil to secure second place ahead of their opponents, Sale Sharks. On 9 May, Leicester defeated Sale 44-34 at home.

Leicester cruised to victory over Newcastle last weekend and will very likely make a few changes for Saturday’s semi-final.

Sale were very strong at the end of the season in the Premiership, losing just one of their final five games. That defeat came away to the Tigers by 10 points, something they will have to turnaround this weekend.
Sale did, however beat Harlequins and Exeter away from home, so they do have some form on the road. The Sharks defeated Saracens 25-7 and Bristol 41-27 on home soil in that run as well.
