New Zealand vs Australia Predictions
The All Blacks have dominated Australia for well over a decade now and have not lost at home to the Wallabies since 2001. This year is however different as last week proved so the 15 point handicap seems excessive.

I am backing Australia to get within 15 points of New Zealand but a victory at Eden Park is very unlikely for the visitors.
- New Zealand have won their last 4 matches against Australia.

- Australia have lost their last 2 matches.
- Australia lost by 2 points to New Zealand last week.
Head to Head
New Zealand have won six of their last seven matches against Australia, including the last four. Last weekend was a titanic battle which the All Blacks won in the final minute 39-37 in Melbourne.
Australia have not won a match in New Zealand since 2001.
New Zealand Form
New Zealand sit atop of the Rugby Championship table as we enter the final week of the competition. Despite their average season, the All Blacks still have the best points difference which puts them ahead of South Africa.
Consistency has been an issue since last year for the men in black. They have however thrashed Argentina 53-3 and beaten Australia away since their loss to Argentina three weeks ago.
This is a must-win match for the All Blacks after they snuck over the line last weekend. They are likely to need a bonus point as well if they want to stay ahead of South Africa and win the title.
New Zealand Injuries & Team News
All Black captain Sam Cane could miss this crucial match as he recovers from a head injury. There are also doubts over David Havili heading into the match.
Australia Form
Australia will still be reeling from their last to New Zealand in Melbourne last week. It was a cracking game of rugby, probably the best of the year to date.
The All Blacks started well but the Aussies fought back to level it at 10-all at half time. The hosts dominated the last 30 minutes of the half but the second half saw New Zealand take control, at one point leading by 16 points.
The Wallabies however fought back magnificently to take a 37-34 lead with two minutes to play. Then a controversial moment took place as Australia won a penalty on their own line. They just needed to kick it out, win the lineout and the game would have been over.
Unfortunately Bernard Foley took too long so the All Blacks were awarded a try from which they scored.
Australia Injuries & Team News
There have been no reported injuries from the Wallaby camp this week. Dave Rennie may opt for the same lineup but after last week’s physical battle changes are expected.
