Australia are once again slight favourites to win the match and in so doing the series. I am sticking with England, my best bet being them to get within three points at even money.

Taniela Topou returned to the side last week after a few months out injured. He should start again with Allan Alaalatoa also passed fit.

England Form

England arrived in Australia with high hopes after dominating their opposition in recent years. Despite holding a decent lead in the first Test, England fell apart in the second half.

This allowed Australia to come roaring back and take a commanding lead. Two late tries ensured it was just a two point loss for England and something to build on.

They did bounce back to level the series at the Suncorp Stadium last week, winning 25-17. It was a test the visitors dominated for large periods and starved Australia of turnover possession. This week will be the series decider and momentum is with the visitors.

Eddie Jones won’t be looking to make many changes to the side that won last week. There seems to be a touch of disharmony in the squad but last week showed they are capable of pulling off big results.
