Wales vs Georgia Predictions & Tips - Georgia backed to get close in Cardiff

Wales have had a terrible year to date and will want to end on a high. They finished fifth in the Six Nations which included a final weekend defeat to Italy.

Despite a couple of impressive showings in their June tour to South Africa, Wales still lost the series 2-1. The one win they did have was effectively against second string Springbok side.

The November internationals began with a heavy defeat at home to New Zealand. Last week Wales did beat Argentina 20-13 which will give them some confidence.

Wales would in the past have looked to make changes to their side for this clash but Georgia are no longer the easy game they once were. Wayne Pivac is likely to pick a strong squad.

Georgia come into this weekend’s match against Wales full of confidence. They will be sniffing an upset is on the cards in Cardiff.

Over the last two weeks Georgia have seen off Uruguay 34-18 and lost 20-19 to Samoa last weekend. Georgia were impressive despite defeat and what is concerning for opposition teams is that they can play some good rugby now whereas they used to be very reliant on forward dominance.

Georgia are at full strength for this weekend’s clash. No new injuries have been reported.
