England are bookmaker Coral's third favourites at 7-2 to win the 2023 Rugby World Cup. Tickets for the tournament, hosted by France, went on sale on Monday morning.

New Zealand are the 15-8 favourites with Coral, with the hosts 3-1 second favourites. Ireland are 14-1, Wales 16-1 and Scotland 40-1.

"The World Cup might seem a distant prospect at the moment but as tickets go on sale, many rugby fans are casting their minds forwards to the 2023 tournament in France. England are our third favourites to lift the trophy, and go one better than they did in Japan back in 2019," said Coral's Harry Aitkenhead.

"New Zealand are the favourites although the hosts aren't far behind them in what promises to be an exceptional tournament with the standard of world rugby looking higher than ever at the moment," added Aitkenhead.
