On the opening weekend Scotland beat England 20-17 at Murrayfield. It was a contest they looked like losing but a superb final 20 minutes saw them get over the line.

Against Wales the scoreline was exactly the same, just the other way around as Wales won 20-17 at home. It was a disappointing result for the Scots who could really put in a title challenge this season. This now becomes a must-win if they still harbour hopes.

Gregor Townsend has made some changes to his squad. James Lang, Ollie Smith, Oli Kebble, Simon Berghan, Kiran McDonald and Marshall Sykes have all been called up into the squad.

France Form

France were favourites to win the Six Nations title this year and their opening two results have just proven why.

Against Italy in round one France were a bit slow to start but ended up winning 37-10 at home. Their toughest test followed when Ireland visited but Les Bleus got over the line with a 30-24 victory.

While the Ireland game was believed by many to be the decider, it was a home fixture for the French. They now come up against a less fancied Scotland side but nevertheless a Scotland side that have enjoyed success against France in recent seasons.

Fabien Galthie has made just one change from the side who beat Ireland. Jonathan Danty comes in at inside centre with Yoram Moefana moves to the wing. The injured Gabin Villiere misses out.
