The 2022 Six Nations kicks off on 5 February with Ireland hosting Wales in Dublin. Wales are the defending champions but are only priced as fourth favourites at 7.00 to retain the title.
France are the outright favourites at 2.62 with bet365. This follows two disappointing season’s where they have narrowly missed out. This time around the French have a favourable fixture list with England and Ireland traveling to Paris.
England have been installed at 3.25 to win. There is value there but Eddie Jones’ side will have to overcome tough away trips to Scotland on the opening weekend and France on the final day. They do host Ireland and Wales, which will be must-win encounters.
Ireland offers value at 5.00 for an outsider but form will have to be on their side with a tough fixture list. Scotland on the other hand often play ‘kingmaker’ as they’re always good for an upset, like beating England at Twickenham last season.
The Scots consistency is however questionable. If they can fix that and ensure they win their home matches, a massive upset could be on the cards.
