The Cobras have made a decent start to the Super Rugby Americas season with one win and a defeat in their opening two games. Unfortunately, the Brazilian side failed to pick up any bonus points in those games.

On the opening weekend, the Cobras won a nailbiter at home 15-13 against Penarol. They couldn’t back it up last Saturday though as they went down 29-13 at home to Dogos XV.

For much of the game the Cobras competed well against a superior Dogos outfit. Overall, they will be relatively pleased with their performance despite the loss.

Selknam Form

Selkam have only played one game this season, unlike the majority of teams who have played two. They lost that game on the opening weekend.

Traveling to Yacare is not easy so Selknam will take some positives from the 34-20 defeat. They looked strong on attack at times but will need to learn how to finish off their opportunities.
