Fijian Drua are currently in eighth place on the Super Rugby table, the final playoff spot. They are just two points clear of the Western Force with two more sides three points back.

Last week the Drua were horrible against the Western Force, losing the game 48-10 in Perth. They were better the week before, losing 28-20 at the Brumbies. Their only win in the last five games came against Moana.

The Reds form has fluctuated quite a bit this season, but they are sitting pretty in fifth place. With the Rebels six points back, the Reds are not in a must-win situation. They are also seven points off fourth so that looks unachievable.

Earlier in the season the Reds had a poor run, losing three games in a row after a decent start. However, the Queensland side bounced back well, beating the Highlanders 31-0 at home before losing 41-34 away to the Blues.

That was followed by a superb 33-28 win at the Crusaders and last week the Reds beat the Rebels 26-22 at home.

The Reds will want to rest key players before the playoffs, but I think that will happen next weekend against the Force. Looking at their three remaining games, they could easily win all three and make a play for fourth in the Chiefs slip up twice.
