The Rebels have won it from four this season and sit 10th on the table. They will count themselves a bit unfortunate with a few close games going against the.

In round one the Rebels lost 34-27 at the Force in a game where the Rebels held a good half-time lead. It was followed by a 39-33 home defeat to the Hurricanes.

The Melbourne side then got it together, beating the Waratahs 34-27 at home. Last week at the Chiefs was always going to be tough but the Rebels put up a good fight. They ended up going down 44-25.

Glen Vaihu and Daniel Maiava return to the side this weekend. They have not featured this year due to injury.

Reds Form


The Reds have been good at times in the opening few rounds, but far too often that good is undone by poor decision-making or discipline.

Currently the Reds have two wins and two defeats in four rounds. They are sixth on the table and just a point off the last playoff spot.

On the opening weekend the Reds lost heavily to the Hurricanes at home, then thrashed the Wester Force 71-20 in a magnificent turnaround. It was followed by a 23-17 defeat at the Brumbies before a scratchy 27-24 victory over Fijian Drua last weekend.
