Reds vs Brumbies Predictions
This is a huge top of the table clash with the winner likely to host the final. The Reds have been playing very well of late and seldom lose at home. I’m backing the Reds to get a victory by 12 or less points.
- Reds have won 2 of their last 3 matches against the Brumbies.
- Reds have won their last 6 matches.
- Reds have won their last 6 home matches against the Brumbies.

- Brumbies have won 5 of their last 6 matches.
- Brumbies have scored 30 and conceded 11 tries this season.
Head to Head
Reds lead the Brumbies 2-1 in their last three outings. They last met earlier in this campaign where the Reds won 40-38 in Canberra.
The Reds are top of the Super Rugby AU table on 28 points, four clear of the Brumbies in second place with two matches to play.
The Queensland-based outfit have won all six of their matches this season and have already secured their spot in the top two. It is a shoot-out between the Reds and the Brumbies for top spot and a home final.
The Reds beat the Brumbies 40-38 in round four to take top spot and have not relinquished it since. After a bye in round five the Reds smashed the Waratahs 46-14 away and then beat the Rebels 44-19 away last weekend.
Reds Injuries & Team News
The Reds have no injury concerns ahead of this match. Their starting lineup is unchanged from the victory over the Rebels last weekend.
The defending champions will still be confident of defending their Super Rugby AU title. They are four points behind the Reds and victory this weekend could see them take top spot back.
The Brumbies have not reached the heights of last season yet but will have to be at their best to get victory this weekend. Since losing to the Reds, the Brumbies have beaten the Western Force 42-14 and the Waratahs 24-22 last weekend.
That victory over the Waratahs was a very poor performance considering they put 60 points past the same team just weeks before. The Canberra side will have to be much improved this weekend if they are to beat the Reds.
Brumbies Injuries & Team News
The Brumbies have made two changes to their starting lineup. Harrison Lloyd is out of the squad so Allan Alaalatoa starts at prop. At lock Darcy Swain comes in for Nick Frost who moves to the bench.
Despite getting red carted last week, Tom Cusack starts again. It was for two yellow card offenses so no ban applies.
