The 2021 Super Rugby season will include Super Rugby Aotearoa and Super Rugby AU followed by Super Rugby Trans-Tasman, a crossover competition featuring the five Australian teams playing the five New Zealand teams.

The Super Rugby AU season kicks off on Friday, February 19, with the Reds hosting the Waratahs at Suncorp Stadium. The season runs until Saturday, May 8, when the top two sides play in the final.

Super Rugby Aotearoa starts a week later on Friday, February 26.

The Super Rugby Trans-Tasman competition will begin on Friday, May 14. It will feature the five Super Rugby AU teams against the five Super Rugby Aotearoa teams with the final to be played on Saturday, June 19.
