The 2023 Super Rugby Pacific tournament kicks off on Friday, 24 February 2023. The Crusaders will be looking to defend their title after beating fellow New Zealanders, the Blues in the final last year.

In fact, the Crusaders have won the last four Super Rugby titles, excluding the regional competitions that took place in 2020 and 2021 due to COVID-19.

The Saders’ are short priced at 2.75 for the tournament with bet365. Last year’s runners-up, the Blues have enjoyed a good run of it over the last few years and should challenge again. They are paying 3.25 and may be worth a look.

The top four favourites are all New Zealand sides before we find the Brumbies priced at 13.00. The Reds follow at 17.00 but given the lack of results by Australian sides in recent seasons, it is very likely the title will return to New Zealand.

Fijian Drua and Moana Pasifika had their debut seasons last year in Super Rugby. There were some impressive results and displays from both sides but ultimately they struggled, as most through they would.

The title may be beyond their reach but it should be interesting to see how they do in their second season.
