The Brumbies have started the season decently with three wins and two defeats in five matches. It has not been as dominant as previous seasons, but they are still placed fourth on the table.

In round one, the Brumbies produced an exciting performance to see off Fijian Drua 36-32 away from home but suffered a 45-42 loss to the Western Force a week later. The Canberra outfit then lost 49-34 at the Chiefs before bouncing back with a cracking 21-20 victory in Auckland against the Blues.

Last weekend, the Brumbies faced off against Fijian Drua again, this time on home soil, winning the game 38-21.
