Fijian winger, Peniasi Dakuwaqa set the Top 14 alight on Saturday with one of the most incredible solo efforts in rugby union ever seen.

In the colours of his French home, Stade Francais, Dakuwaqa collected a kick from Racing 92 on his own line before running a half-moon behind his own posts. It could have gone wrong and Stade Francais fans would have had their hearts in their mouths for a few seconds.

However, that nervous energy quickly turned to ecstasy as the pacy winger beat a man behind the goal line before a left-footed chip inside his own 22. The bounce was perfect, but Dakuwaqa still had to shrug off a couple defenders (and an injured player with a medic beside him) to race through and score.

That was just one of Dakuwaqa’s two tries in a game Stade Francais won 27-11 away from home. The victory helped the Paris’ club maintain their slender lead at the top of the table ahead of the defending champions, Toulouse.

The video has set social media alight this weekend and is sure to be played for years to come by adoring fans.
