Glasgow vs Sharks Predictions
Glasgow are known for keeping ball in hand and playing at a very high tempo. This will be the Sharks first taste of a synthetic pitch, which could cause them problems. I am backing a comfortable home win with the Warriors covering the -9 handicap.

Head to Head
This is the first ever meeting between Glasgow and the Sharks.
Glasgow had an average season last time out, winning six of their 16 matches in the United Rugby Championship. They finished fourth in Conference A behind Ospreys, Ulster and Leinster.
In the more recent Rainbow Cup, the Warriors fared much better, winning four of their five matches. The lack of bonus points however cost them dearly they fell three points off top spot.
The 2021/22 season did not start too well for Glasgow as they went down 35-29 at Ulster. The bonus point for losing by less than seven will be some consolation considering how tough it is to get results in Ulster.
Glasgow Injuries & Team News
Glasgow Warriors are expected to go into this match with much the same side that played last weekend. No serious injuries have been reported.
The Sharks made the Currie Cup final earlier this season but lost 44-10 to the Bulls in that final. It was not the strongest of competitions as there were no international players.
Of all the South African sides the Sharks are the hardest hit by the lack of international players. Five of their players started for South Africa last weekend with quite a few more in the broader squad.
Last week the Sharks lost their first ever United Rugby Championship fixture 42-17 to Munster. They had a very good opening 20 minutes but failed to score the points to put pressure on their hosts. Once Munster got into he game it was an uphill struggle for the men from Durban.
Sharks Injuries & Team News
Sean Everitt has made three changes to his side. Fez Mbatha, Ruben van Heerden and Murray Koster all come into the side.
