The Sharks are fourth on the URC table after 16 matches and with just two to play, should be able to maintain that position. They have won 11 of 16 games this season and are set for a home quarterfinal berth.
Looking back over recent results of the Sharks, they’ve had quite a few nervy encounters recently. In early March they beat the Lions 25-22 at home and followed it with a 35-34 home win over Zebre. A 10-7 home defeat to Leinster followed.
The Sharks were then knocked out of the European Challenge Cup by Lyon in France, but the Durban-based outfit bounced back to sneak past Edinburgh 18-17 away from home. Last week, the Sharks were again in a tussle, beating Ulster 22-19 in Galway.

The Sharks are back home after a three-week tour in Europe. This is a key match for them, but I do expect some big players to get a rest.
Ospreys Form
Ospreys are 11th on the table, three points off a top eight finish with two games to go. Making a quarterfinal isn’t impossible for the Welsh side but they are likely going to need to win their last two games in South Africa, something they have not managed previously.
Form for the Ospreys has been inconsistent all season, but they do have some confidence after thrashing the Dragons 57-24 at home last Saturday. Prior to that, the Ospreys lost at home to Cardiff and Lyon in the Challenge Cup.

There is little choice for Ospreys to field a full-strength side in their last two games if they have any hope of making the top eight. This is simply a must-win game for them.
