The Stormers have been the most successful South African side since joining the URC, finishing as champions and runners-up in their first two seasons. They are now down in 13th with two wins from five as consistency alludes them.

John Dobson’s side beat Zebre 36-5 away in their second game after losing at the Ospreys. That was followed by a thumping 38-7 defeat at Edinburgh before the Stormers managed a 34-19 home win over Munster.
