Georgia U20 ran Ireland U20 close during last years tournament and although the teams are vastly different, the Georgians are vastly improved. Ireland also had a dreadful Six Nations campaign, so for me, this should be close.

Ireland will want to rectify their poor start to 2025 when they finished bottom of the U20 Six Nations table. They managed just one win in their five games.

A 19-3 home defeat in round one to England was followed by a 33-15 away success against Scotland. They then suffered a 30-12 loss in Wales before going down 22-12 to France at home.

In the final week, Italy were shocked again, this time by Italy. Italy won the match 15-12 on home soil.

Georgia U20 Recent Form

Georgia will almost certainly want to replicate their performance at the U20 World Championship in 2024. They were superb, beating some more fancied sides.

Georgia lost to Australia and Ireland in the group stage but beat Italy 28-17. That saws them advance to the 9th place playoff where they beat Fiji 40-36 and then Italy again, this time 24-13.
