The English Open Snooker was first staged in 2016 and will take place for the ninth time in 2024.

It is one of four Home Nations Series events and is one of the early ranking events in the snooker season. 

Judd Trump is the defending champion after defeating Zhang Anda 9-7 in the 2023 English Open final.
