The 2021 Scottish Open Snooker is taking place from December 5-12.
It is the sixth ranking event of the 2021/22 season and is being staged at Venue Cymru in Llandudno, Wales due to a shift of venue.
The schedule is complicated by differing arrival times of players following the UK Championship and the need to complete qualifying rounds.

Format
The tournament features 64 players with all players have come through qualifying to reach the tournament proper.
The first three rounds are played as best of 7 frame matches with the Quarter-finals a best of 9 frame match.
The Semi-Finals are played over 11 frames with the final decided over 17 frames.
