Betting on the Snooker Shoot Out

Knowing the rules is essential before betting on the Snooker Shoot Out. The tournament is played under a variation of the standard rules or snooker.

Every frame lasts a maximum of 10 minutes with a shot clock in use. Players must hit a cushion with any ball and pot a ball with every shot.

All fouls result in ball in hand and in an event of a tie, the blue ball is placed on its spot and the player places the cue ball anywhere within the D. Winner of the lag decides who goes first and the blue ball must be potted directly without a fluke.

Players who are used to playing fast can have an advantage in the Shoot Out alongside players that have regularly competed in the tournament. Michael Holt has played (32) and won (23) the most matches in the tournament's history.
