The 2020 UK Championship is taking place from November 23 to December 6 at the Marshall Arena in Milton Keynes, England.

The tournament features 128 players including Neil Robertson, Judd Trump, Ronnie O'Sullivan, Mark Selby, Stuart Bingham, John Higgins, Shaun Murphy, Ding Junhui and Mark Allen.

Defending champion Ding Junhui was been knocked out in the early rounds alongside Ronnie O'Sullivan, Shaun Murphy, John Higgins and Mark Allen.

Neil Robertson faces Judd Trump in the final on Sunday 6 December.

The UK Championship is part of snooker's Triple Crown and is one of the biggest prizes in the sport. Ronnie O'Sullivan is the most successful player in the history of the tournament, winning the title seven times.

Neil Robertson takes on Judd Trump in the final which will be played on Sunday.

Format

The 128 players are drawn in ranking order with number one seed Ding Junhai facing the lowest ranked player in the field. The first round is best of 11 frame match, as are the Last 64, Last 32 and Last 16 matches.

The Quarter-finals and Semi-Finals are also played over 11 frames with the final decided over 19 frames.

The UK Championship was first held in 1977 with Patsy Fagan the inaugural final. Ronnie O'Sullivan holds the record with seven titles, surpassing the six achieved by Steve Davis when he won in 2018.

Ding Junhui is the defending champion having beaten Stephen Maguire in the 2019 final.
