The UK Championship Snooker was first staged in 1977 and will take place for the 48th time in 2024.
It is the first Triple Crown and ninth ranking event of the season.
Ronnie O'Sullivan is the defending champion after victory over Ding Junhui in the 2023 final, claiming a record eighth title in the event.
