The 2024 World Snooker Championship is the 92nd edition of a professional snooker tournament. It is widely regarded as the leading snooker tournament in terms of prestige and prize money.
The tournament is organised by the World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association and also known as the Betfred World Snooker Championship.
This will be the 48th consecutive year the World Snooker Championship will be held at the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield. It is the final ranking event of the 2023-24 snooker season.
