2023 World Snooker Championship at the Crucible Theatre - Order of Play & Live Stream
The 2023 World Snooker Championship is set to take place at the iconic Crucible Theatre in Sheffield, England, between Saturday, April 15 and Monday, May 1.
Top Players to Watch
With multiple sub-plots at play, fans will be eager to watch their favourite snooker stars battle it out. Reigning champion Ronnie O'Sullivan is looking to win a record-breaking eighth title, while in-form Shaun Murphy hopes to land his first world crown since 2005. Other top players include Mark Selby, Judd Trump, Neil Robertson, and Kyren Wilson.
Order of Play
The tournament kicks off with big names scheduled to play on Saturday and Sunday. The first round will consist of 16 seeds who will face 16 qualifiers. Defending champion Ronnie O'Sullivan will start the first round with a match against Chinese player Pang Junxu. Former champions Neil Robertson and Stuart Bingham are also scheduled to play on the first day. On Sunday, Chinese player Ding Junhui will begin his pursuit to win his first world snooker championship title, while Mark Williams will begin his campaign.
