The CONCACAF Gold Cup will be the 15th edition of an international football competition featuring men’s national teams in the CONCACAF (Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football) federation. The tournament will be co-hosted by USA, Costa Rica and Jamaica, starting on 15 June and culminating with the 2019 CONCACAF Gold Cup Final at Soldier Field in Chicago, United States on 7 July.

The 2019 CONCACAF Gold Cup will be the 15th international football competition featuring men’s senior national teams in the CONCACAF (Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football) football federation. 

The competition has been held roughly every two years since 1991 and the USA has hosted or co-hosted every competition. The 2000 CONCACAF Gold Cup saw the competition increased to 12 teams and the 2019 CONCACAF Gold Cup saw the championship expanded from 12 to 16 teams.

Mexico and United States have dominated the Gold Cup. Mexico have won the CONCACAF Gold Cup seven times and the United States have won seven CONCACAF Gold Cups. The only other nation to win the competition was Canada in 2000 after beating Colombia in the final. 

The 2019 CONCACAF Gold Cup begins on 15 June and culminates on 7 July with the 2019 CONCACAF Gold Cup Final which will be held at the 61,500 capacity Soldier Field in Chicago.

There will be 15 venues hosting matches in the United States and one each in Costa Rica and Jamaica. The top six nations in the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying tournament qualified for the 2019 CONCACAF Gold Cup with the 10 other teams qualifying through the 2019-20 CONCACAF Nations League qualifying competition.

The 16 teams competing at the 2019 CONCACAF Gold Cup will be Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama, Honduras, United States, Trinidad and Tobago, Haiti, Canada, Martinique, Curaçao, Bermuda, Cuba, Guyana, Jamaica, Nicaragua and El Salvador.

The CONCACAF Gold Cup Top 10 Goalscorers list includes the United States’ Landon Donovan and Clint Dempsey, Mexico’s Luis Roberto Alves, Panama’s Blas Pérez and Luis Tejada, Mexico’s Andrés Guardado, El Salvador’s Rodolfo Zelaya, Costa Rica’s Walter Centeno, Honduras’ Carlos Pavón and United States’ Eric Wynalda.
