Horse racing fans have a mountain of racing to look forward to over the Christmas period, with no fewer than 11 meetings taking place on Boxing Day alone!
In England, Kempton's Christmas Meeting hogs the headlines, with both the King George VI Chase and the Christmas Hurdle taking place on Boxing Day. Wetherby stages their popular Rowland Meyrick meeting on Sunday too, before attentions turn to Chepstow the following afternoon, where the Welsh Grand National takes place.
Over in Ireland, the Leopardstown Christmas Festival is the main event. Each of the four cards during this meeting features at least one Grade One race, with the lucrative Savills Chase headlining the festive feast of action at Leopardstown. Limerick stages an important meeting over Christmas too, with the Faugheen Novices' Chase featuring on their Boxing Day card.
