ATP Challenger Tour Tennis Tournaments
ATP Challenger Tour
The ATP Challenger Tour is a professional tennis circuit that operates as a feeder to the ATP World Tour and runs all year round with tournaments across the world.
The tour is open to all professional players who are not ranked in the top 50 of the ATP rankings, or who have not reached the semi-finals of an ATP Tour event in the current or previous year.
The Challenger Tour provides players with the opportunity to earn ranking points and prize money while competing against fellow professionals of a similar standard.
It is seen as the second rung of the world tennis stage with lesser talented lineups and smaller crowds than those see for the big ATP Tour events.
We provide you with guides to all Challenger Tour tournaments, live stream information and how to watch every game and preview the big games from the key events.

ATP Challenger Tour Schedule
The ATP Challenger Tour consists of over 150 tournaments held in over 40 countries throughout the year.
The schedule is always subject to change, but usually runs from January through November each year, with some events taking place in December as well for those players not heading on a winter break.
The tournaments are organised into several tiers based on prize money and ranking points and can only feature players who are not ranked in the top 50 of the ATP rankings, or who have not reached the semi-finals of an ATP Tour event in the current or previous year.
Key ATP Challenger Tour Tournaments
Although the tour sits below the ATP Tour in terms of prestige, there are several high-profile ATP Challenger events held throughout the year. Some of the most prestigious include:
Australian Open Wildcard Playoff - held in December each year, this event offers a wildcard into the Australian Open for the winner.
Indian Wells Challenger - held in March as a warm-up to the ATP Masters 1000 event at Indian Wells.
Rome Challenger - held in May as a lead-up to the Italian Open.
Challenger de Rimouski - held in March in Rimouski, Quebec, Canada, this event is the only ATP Challenger held in Canada.
Prague Open - held in August, this event is one of the biggest ATP Challengers in Europe and offers a significant amount of prize money and ranking points.
Fairfield Challenger - held in October in Fairfield, California, this event is known for its scenic location and high-quality field.
