ATP Dubai Tennis Championships Winners


Roger Federer stands alone at the ATP Dubai Tennis Championships, winning eight singles titles between 2003 and 2019. Novak Djokovic is the only other player to win more than once, winning five titles from 2009 and 2020.

The first ATP Dubai Tennis Championships was held in 1993 with Karel Nováček beating Fabrice Santoro in the final.

Aslan Karatsev is the defending champion after beating Lloyd Harris 6-3, 6-2 in the 2021 final.

History


The Dubai Tennis Championships started in 1993 as an ATP 250 tournament. In 1996 the tournament was held at the Dubai Tennis Stadium at the Aviation Club for the first time. 

In 2005 the Dubai Tennis Championships implemented equal prize money, becoming the third professional tennis event to do so after the US Open and Australian Open.
