Filip Krajinovic Form

A very powerful hitter but prone to injury, Krajinovic booked his place in the third round of the Australian Open for the second time by defeating Pablo Andujar.

Daniil Medvedev Form

Medvedev continues to impress as he improved to 6-0 in 2021 and 16 straight match wins with a 6-2, 7-5, 6-1 victory over Roberto Carballes Baena.

The Russian converted seven of eight break points he created against the Spaniard. He is clearly making an effort to keep his matches short in order to conserve energy for later rounds.

Krajinovic should be Medvedev’s toughest challenge so far as he beat the Russian in their only previous meeting.
