Alexander Zverev Form


Alexander Zverev was strong on clay last year, winning the Rome Masters and Paris Masters alongside final defeats at the French Open and Hamburg.

The 27-year-old began 2025 at the United Cup, beating Thiago Monteiro and Zhizhen Zhang but not competing in the quarter-finals where Germany went down to Kazakhstan.

Zverev’s serve was broken twice in his opening three matches at the Australian Open, taking out Lucas Pouille, Pedro Martinez and Jacob Fearnley in straight sets.  

The World No.2 beat Ugo Humbert 6-1 2-6 6-3 6-2 in the fourth round where he won 48% of his 2nd serves. He went over three hours in a 7-6 7-6 2-6 6-1 quarter-final victory over Tommy Paul.

Novak Djokovic beat Carlos Alcaraz to stay on track for an 11th Australian Open title. The 37-year-old is defying his age in Melbourne where he is backed to beat Alexander Zverev.
