The ATP Tour returns to Spain with the 72nd edition of the Barcelona Open. The ATP Tour 500 event takes place on clay courts at Real Club de Tenis Barcelona from 14 to 20 April.
The singles draw has been reduced from 48 to 32 players and features five Top 10 players - Carlos Alcaraz, Casper Ruud, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Andrey Rublev and Alex de Minaur.
Also known as the Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell, it is a cornerstone of the European clay-court season and an important preparation event for the French Open.
Carlos Alcaraz and Casper Ruud are former champions with Stefanos Tsitsipas beaten in four finals.

Jenson Brooksby beat Frances Tiafoe in the US Men's Clay Court Championships where Tommy Paul and Brandon Nakashima were semi-finalists.
Luciano Darderi beat Tallon Griekspoor in the Grand Prix Hassan II final in Marrakesh and Flavio Cobolli was victorious over Sebastian Baez in the Romanian Open final.
Take special note of players that went deep at the Monte-Carlo Masters last week. Carlos Alcaraz defeated Lorenzo Musetti in the final, Stefanos Tsitsipas losing to Musetti in the quarter-finals.
Alejandro Davidovich Fokina and Alex de Minaur reached the semi-finals with Grigor Dimitrov, Alexei Popyrin and Arthur Fils rounding out the quarter-finalists.
Alcaraz won the Barcelona Open in 2022 and 2023, Casper Ruud the defending champion after defeating Stefanos Tsitsipas in the 2024 final.
Tsitsipas has reached the final four times and lost on each occasion. Pablo Carreno Busta was runner-up in 2022 and enters as a wildcard.
