This was followed by beating three seeded players including defending Bucharest Open champion, Anastasija Sevastova 6-2, 7-5. A convincing semi final 6-3, 6-1 victory over sixth seed Laura Siegemund sent her into the final in her home Open.

Rybakina’s semi final was a straight forward affair as she comfortably took care of Martina di Guiseppe 6-3, 6-2. Going into the final she is the odds on favourite at 1.53 but I think it is risky with the home crowd fully behind their Romanian hopeful.

Both finalists have been pretty dominant throughout the tournament. There is value in the sets market and I’m tipping the match to go to three sets at 2.37.
