Delray Beach Open History

The Delray Beach Open began in 1993 and was hosted in Coral Springs before moving to the Delray Beach Centre in 1998. Prior to the change of venue the event was named the Delray Beach International Tennis Championships (ITC). In 2014 it was renamed the Delray Beach Open.

From 1993 to 1997 the event formed part of the ATP World Series before becoming part of the ATP International Series from 1998-2008. From 2009 onwards the Delray Beach Open has formed part of the ATP Tour 250 series.

The Delray Beach Open was played on a green clay surface from 1993 to 1999 before moving to its current hard court surface.
