The 2025 Italian Open final concludes at Foro Italico on Sunday with Jannik Sinner taking on Carlos Alcaraz.

World No. 1 Sinner didn't lost a set in his opening four matches following a three month ban. He thrashed Casper Ruud 6-0 6-1 in the quarter-finals and came back to beat Tommy Paul 1-6 6-0 6-3 in the semi-finals.

Alcaraz has won 14 of his last 15 matches, taking out the title in Monte-Carlo and losing the final in Barcelona. He had a relatively easy run to the quarter-finals in Rome where he beat Jack Draper 6-4 6-4, getting over Lorenzo Musetti 6-3 7-6 in the semis.

Alcaraz leads Sinner 7-4 in the head to head after winning the previous three encounters. They last met at the 2024 China Open final, Alcaraz winning 6-7 6-4 7-6.

Also known as ATP Rome, the Italian Open is one of the premier clay court tournaments in the lead up to the French Open.
