The 17-year-old won her first WTA Tour title in Iasi without facing a Top 70 player. She beat Emma Navarro and Jasmine Paolini at the Cincinnati Open before sufferinf a 3 sets quarter-final defeat to Iga Swiatek.

The Russian went out early at the US Open, losing to Ashlyn Krueger in the second round. She improved with a quarter-final exit in Beijing before a shock second round defeat to her sister Erika Andreeva in the second round in Wuhan.
