Open Sud de France History


The Open Sud de France began in 1987 and was held at the Palais des Sports de Gerland in Lyon, France until 2009. The tournament was relocated to Montpellier in 2010.

The tournament was formerly known as the Grand Prix de Tennis de Lyon and is one of four French events on the ATP Tour 250 series along with the Open 13, Moselle Open and Lyon Open.
