The third round starts on Sunday with top seed Jannik Sinner taking on Tomas Etcheverry and 3rd seed Carlos Alcaraz meeting Yibing Wu.

Seven Top 10 players remain in the draw in Shanghai - Jannik Sinner, Alexander Zverev, Carlos Alcaraz, Novak Djokovic, Daniil Medvedev, Taylor Fritz and Grigor Dimitrov.

Andrey Rublev and Casper Ruud were knocked out in the second round.
