Holger Rune has enjoyed the grass court season, reaching the semi-finals of Queen's and this stage of Wimbledon despite not hitting his best form at SW19. He is value to cause an upset against Grigor Dimitrov.

Dimitrov loves this surface and has yet to drop a set in the opening three rounds, but I'm expecting this one to be a long, drawn-out tussel in the Round of 16 that Rune might just nick.

Grigor Dimitrov has been impressive in his opening three round victories at Wimbledon, winning in straights sets on each occasion.

He brushed aside Sho Shimabukuro 6-1 6-2 6-1 in the first round and defeated fellow Bulgarian Ilya Ivashka 6-3 6-4 6-4 in the second round.

The world no. 28 took the scalp of France Tiafoe, the world no. 10 and 10th seed, in the third round with a dominant 6-2 6-3 6-2 victory.

Holger Rune Form

Holger Rune reached three finals this year including beating Botic Van De Zandschulp in Munich for his only title of 2023.

The World No.6 warmed up for Wimbledon with a run to the semi-finals of Queen's before losing to Alex De Minaur 6-3 7-6 and defeating Andy Murray in an exhibition event.

At Wimbledon, he overcame George Loffhagen 7-6 6-3 6-2 and Roberto Carballes Baena 6-3 7-6 6-4 in the opening two rounds in straight sets.

However, he needed a super tie-break to oust Alejandro Davidovich Fokina in the last round, coming from 6-2 down to win 6-3 4-6 3-6 6-4 7-6 (10-8).
