Wawrinka has struggled with injuries in recent times, but has looked solid enough in his two wins at Wimbledon. I expect Djokovic to win, but Wawrinka can take a set and bring in over 30.5 games in the process.

Djokovic holds a 21-6 head to head record against Wawrinka, although the pair have played only one in the last four years. That was in Rome in May when Djokovic won in straight sets.

Prior to that, Wawrinka beat Djokovic in US Open finals in 2016 and 2019, albeit the later when the Serb retired injured while trailing two sets down.

Novak Djokovic made the perfect start to his title defence with a routine 6-3 6-3 7-6 win over Pedro Cachin on Monday.

Stan Wawrinka Form

Stanislas Wawrinka has looked in good nick in two comfortable wins in the opening two rounds at Wimbledon.

The three-time Grand Slam winner got the better of Emil Ruusuvuori 7-5 7-5 6-4 in the first round before dropping a set in a 6-3 4-6 6-4 6-2 win over Tomas Martin Etcheverry on Wednesday.
