Cameron Norrie’s odds of winning Wimbledon have been slashed after he advanced to the semi-finals.

Norrie booked his place in the final four at SW19 with a 3-6 7-5 2-6 6-3 7-5 victory over David Goffin on Tuesday.

Bookmaker Coral responded to that result by slashing the British ace’s outright odds from 28/1 to 20/1.

Norrie, who was as big as 80/1 before the competition began, will face Novak Djokovic in the semi-finals on Friday.

“Cameron Norrie has kept British hopes alive at Wimbledon, and his come crashing down after every round,” Coral’s John Hill told FreeTips.com.

“Norrie’s next challenge is as tough as it gets and he will be a big outsider to overcome defending champion Novak Djokovic.”

One Coral customer will be hoping Norrie can follow in the footsteps of Andy Murray by winning the ‘home’ Grand Slam.

The punter bet £50 on the British number one to win it all and stands to win £4,050 if he lifts the trophy.
