Novak Djokovic may be ranked number two in the world, but the bookmakers make him the number one pick to win the Wimbledon men’s singles title.

The seven-time winner, who has already claimed the Australian and French Open titles this season, is 8/13 with Coral to walk away from SW19 one step closer to a 2023 Grand Slam.

Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz, the current world number one, has been priced at 7/2 to win his first major.

“Obviously Novak Djokovic is very solid at the head of the market,” Coral’s Lewis Knowles told FreeTips.com.

“But 20-year-old Carlos Alcaraz is the new kid on the block, and we’ve been seeing plenty of support for the Spaniard in recent days.

“Alcaraz made the fourth round last year, and he’ll be hoping he can go much further this time round.

“Although it appears his best days are behind him, we’ve seen plenty of patriotic support for Andy Murray at 40-1, and what a story that would be if the Scotsman could lift another title at SW19.”
