Britain's Got Talent

Britain's Got Talent returned in April 2023 for it's 16th season, and at this relatively early stage in the betting, bookmaker bet365 has made Malakai Bayoh the favourites at $3.00, with Olivia Lynes and Ghetto Kids (both $5.00) right behind them.

With the return of the show comes a swathe of new contestants and acts that are looking to make it big and win the competition as the public watches on in disbelief, adoration and shock.

Clearly, there are three acts that are garnering a lot of attention at this early stage. Malakai Bayoh is the outright favourite at $3.00, but there is a lot of competition at the top, with Olivia Lynes and Ghetto Kids in a close second at $5.00.

Further out in the betting, John's Boys are available at $11.00, with Parkour Collective ($12.00), Amy Lou ($13.00), Cillian O'Connor, Abi Carter-Simpson and Noodle (all $15.00) right behind them.

Bayoh is an opera singer that was given the golden buzzer treatment, while Lynes (singer) and Ghetto Kids (dance) were also given the golden buzzer to really reinforce their claims to being favourites this year.

The betting for this year's iteration of Britain's Got Talent is already heating up. However, with so many weeks and performances still to come, anything could happy between now and the finale.

The show itself returned for it's 16th series in 2023, with hosts Ant and Dec joined by judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli. Tonioli replaces David Walliams, who stepped down from judging the show.

There is still a lot of time between now and the finale of the show. This means that while Bayoh may be the favourite at this time, it could all change in an instant.

If you can nail an early bet on a contestant that currently offers long odds then you could be in for a decent payout. However, keep in mind that the odds of the favourites could drift considerably as well as shorten, with TV shows often throwing up real shock results.
