Mike Dean is odds-on to go from Premier League referee to the Australian jungle later this year.

Dean retired from his on-field role at the end of last season but remained in football as a VAR official.

However, the bookies believe he could take a break from that role to appear on one of British television’s most popular series.

It will not be Strictly Come Dancing though, after former ballroom dancer Dean ruled out an appearance.

Instead the bookmakers believe he could be headed Down Under this winter, with Ladbrokes just 8/11 that Dean appears on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Outta Here!

“Strictly's loss might be I'm A Celebrity's gain if the latest odds are anything to go by, with Mike Dean potentially jungle-bound later this year,” Ladbrokes’ Alex Apati told FreeTips.com.
