Figueiredo did make weight for the rematch and sensational tapped out Benavidez in the first round.

The 27-year-old Mexican made a swift return to the UFC only to see his return fight with Askar Askarov end in a split decision defeat.

Moreno finally ended a two-and-a-half-year win drought inside the Octagon when he beat Kai Kara-France in December 2019.

He followed that up with a decision win over Jussier Formiga and then earned a title shot by stopping Brandon Royval in the first round.

Moreno came up short in the title fight though, going to a majority draw with Deiveson Figueiredo.
