Henry 'The Messenger' Cejudo (15-2) defends the Bantamweight Championship for the first time having won the vacant title versus Marlon Moraes at UFC 238 in June 2019. 

The 33-year-old has won his last five fights, successfully defending the Flyweight Championship against Demetrious Johnson and T.J. Dillashaw before surrendering the belt in February to return to Bantamweight.

Cejudo is one of only four fighters in UFC history to hold two championships at the same time.

Dominick Cruz History


Dominick 'The Dominator' Cruz (22-2) will be making his first competitive UFC appearance since December 2016. He is currently ranked #3 in the men’s pound-for-pound rankings and has collected three Performance of the Night honors in his last five fights.

Cruz is a former UFC and WEC champion who will be attempting to prove he is still the best bantamweight in the world. The last few years have been marred by injuries, his last fight resulting in a defeat to Cody Garbrandt at UFC 207, losing the Bantamweight Championship in the process.

Since that defeat, Cruz revealed that he has been beleaguered by plantar fascia tendinitis and has struggled to walk. He pulled out of a fight in December 2017 due to a broken arm and in January 2019 with a shoulder injury.

Cruz has a history of performing well after long layoffs, defeating Takega Mizugaki at UFC 178 in September 2014 having not fought for nearly three years. He also defeated T.J. Dillashaw to become Bantamweight champion in his first fight for 15 months.
