The 2021 Professional Fighters League regular season continues with the Week 6 event on Friday night.

The card is headlined by the women’s lightweight clash between Kayla Harrison and Cindy Dandois, while former UFC lightweight champion Anthony Pettis eyes his first PFL win in the co-main event.

Our tips for the night’s action are provided by expert MMA analysts and tipsters.

Kayla Harrison vs Cindy Dandois

Kayla Harrison’s judo and grappling has propelled to a perfect 9-0 record and one PFL lightweight championship.

And it should help her book a place in the playoffs once again when she faces Cindy Dandois here.

Dandois was beaten in her PFL debut in May and will have all sorts of problems trying to deal with the defending champion’s supreme grappling skills.

Harrison should dominate this contest and secure a return to the postseason.

Anthony Pettis vs Raush Manfio

Anthony Pettis’ PFL debut was ruined by the shock defeat to Clay Collard in April and illness then forced him out of a fight earlier this month.

‘Showtime’ will return to action at PFL 6 and he can make up for last time by notching his first win.

Pettis can use his superior striking to control the distance and pick apart Raush Manfio in the stand-up.

Klidson Abreu vs Jamelle Jones

Klidson Abreu’s run in the UFC proved to be an underwhelming one as he went 1-2 with 1 No Contest.

Perhaps that top level is beyond him, but he could make a splash in the PFL with his fight-ending power.

Jamelle Jones has power himself, but he can get a little reckless at times and Abreu could punish him.

Verdict

Harrison is an overwhelming favourite for her fight and that comes as no surprise.

She should be far too much for Dandois, while ex-UFC fighters Pettis and Abreu can get their first PFL wins in the book.
