UFC 304 Preview

The card is headlined by two title fights involving home favourites, Leon Edwards and Tom Aspinall.

Edwards will defend his UFC welterweight title against Belal Muhammad, while Aspinall puts his interim heavyweight title up for grabs against Curtis Blaydes.

Edwards and Muhammad went to a No Contest in March 2021, after an accidental eye-poke left the latter unable to continue.

Since then Edwards has gone on to dethrone Kamaru Usman and successfully defend the welterweight crown against both Usman and Covington.

He now makes his third defence of the title against Muhammad, who has reeled off five consecutive wins since the premature ending to his first fight with ‘Rocky’.

Aspinall, meanwhile, is making the first defence of the interim heavyweight title, and it will be against the last man to beat him.

Blaydes was awarded a TKO victory over Aspinall when the English heavyweight suffered a serious knee injury just 15 seconds into their fight in July 2022.

So can Aspinall get his revenge here, and will Edwards enjoy another successful defence of the welterweight title?
