Poland Begin Title Defense
Poland are the reigning Nations League champions after a dominant 2025 campaign. They did not drop a single set in the playoffs, recording 3-0 victories against Japan in the quarterfinals, Brazil in the semifinals and Italy in the final.
They also impressed at the 2025 World Championship, winning all three group-stage matches to finish top of Group B before eliminating Canada 3-1 and Turkey 3-0 in the knockout rounds.
Their title hopes ended in the semifinals with a 3-0 defeat to Italy, but Poland bounced back to claim the bronze medal by beating the Czech Republic 3-1 in the third-place match.
